My very favourite thing about Venus, the planet, is when she enters her RETROGRADE PHASE.

Now, retrogrades get a bad rap, but essentially, in MY experience of working with the cosmos + their cycles, a retrograde phase (+ all planetary cycles have one) is a time to:
RE‑visit.
RE‑integrate.
RE‑assess.

If I had my way, during a VENUS Retrograde phase, we’d ALL get to recline on a chaise longue, eat cake + sip rosehip tea while we REALLY take the time to re-visit, re-integrate, re-assess the medicine + magic of the previous 19 months (that’s how long a synodic Venus cycle is.)

To let all that’s unfolded + unfurled REVEAL itself to you during the Venus Cycle, specifically in regards to YOUR SOURCE-ERY - all the things that source you - money, relationships, values, worth + self-esteem.

Yes, it CAN + WILL stir up matters of the heart - that’s a GOOD thing - it’ll help you to get wild clear about WHAT MATTERS so that when you/we come OUT of the Venus retrograde + begin a new 19ish month Venus cycle, you/we do it with a:

Venus Retrograde, for me, is where the ACTUAL initiation of the Venus cycle happens.
You’ve completed a full Venus cycle.
You’ve returned, different to how you left .
You now take the retrograde phase, to rest + digest – to take a full inventory of ALL that’s unfolded + revealed itself to you during that cycle.

This is YOUR opportunity to be IN ceremony with ALL that’s been revealed (+ is continuing to reveal itself to you) before you begin a new revolution.
Before a new Venus cycle begins.
